Joe Geia is a renowned singer /songwriter, guitarist, didgeridoo player and influential figure in the development of contemporary Indigenous music. He writes music of bravery and beauty, telling of Aboriginal life in Australia, of the quest for justice and belonging, of history, family and love. “I want to promote change and understanding, melodically and harmoniously,” he says, “while still sharing the little known aspects of Aboriginal history.”

Joe Geia’s style comes from North Queensland, clearly revealing his Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander ancestry. He combines his heritage with a contemporary approach.

SPS

South Pacific Styles are a collaboration of Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander and Tongan teenage creatives. Together they bring the contemporary sounds of the south pacific to life and share their Indigenous roots, soul and culture with their audience, through Hip Hop and RnB. SPS are fresh, funky and fun, but most of all DEADLY.
